WHAT IS A PLANT BASED DIET?

DIET IS EVERYTHING – WHAT WE EAT MATTERS A LOT

Everything starts down in our gut. Our vitality is based on the health of our microbiome – the variety and number of bacteria.

Some people eat plants for health reasons and they call themselves plant based eaters. Others eat plants for ethical reasons which are to save the life of animals – they call themselves vegan.
I feel this not set in stone because I prefer to call my lifestyle plant based, yet I also care for animals and avoid buying products tested on them or made from them. As well as a vegan diet can be an unhealthy, full of processed foods diet. But it can also be a conscious, vegan alkaline diet – a healthy one. So don’t get confused.
The last group are raw foods enthusiasts or raw vegans. The difference between them and vegans is that they eat their food raw. The way nature intended to create it, the way it grows from the soil. Not cooked, not processed.  And here on our plant based journey I encourage you to eat more raw foods!

Raw food helps to purify the body and mind. I simply love it because it’s fun, colourful and delicious. My body feels at one with Mother Earth and receives her nourishment and love, naturally.

Raw food is hight in fresh, living, plant based foods packed with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, antioxidants and phytonutrients. It also maximises the intake of enzymes. These products create chronic inflammation in your body and that can make you suffer from different types or allergies, intolerances and diseases.
